George and Shirley
George and Shirley were rescued from a parking lot, and came to us with very severe upper respiratory infections, which caused their eyes to swell and made it hard for them to breath, not to mention they were already very malnourished. They required extensive vet care which Sub-Q fluids, several different medications and even blood work to rule out other infections. After lots of TLC, they recovered and were healthy, happy kittens. They went from living in a parking lot to sitting by the fire in their purr-fect forever home, who adopted both of them.
Abigail was rescued from railroad tracks, She came to us with in very poor condition, completely emaciated, anemic from fleas and a severe upper respiratory infection. she required several trips to the vet and lots of home care. this included blood work, daily Sub-Q fluids for over a week, a round of antibiotics, nebulizer treatment and several other medications. After a few months of treatment and care, she recovered quite well with only minimal effects. She later found a wonderful forever home with several fur siblings, where she could enjoy sunshine in her very own backyard.
