Poor little Pinto has been through a lot in his short life. ❤️ Only 5 months old

First, his de-sexing was delayed because he only had one descended testicle. Then, just as he was getting ready for his surgery and final vaccination, he came down with an upper respiratory virus, which meant everything had to be delayed again.

Just as Pinto was recovering from his virus, we noticed he was showing signs of discomfort. We reached out straight away to the lovely Vet Van team, who promptly collected him as we were concerned he may have a urinary blockage.

A urinary blockage is unusual in a cat his age, but Pinto seems to be one of a kind! 😅

He stayed with the wonderful Vet Van team overnight, where he could receive pain relief and treatment to help him pass the blockage. Thankfully, he is now back with us and doing well. He is still on pain relief, but he's back to his usual smoochy self. ❤️

We now need your help with Pinto's vet bills. As you know, we are a small rescue and rely heavily on the support of our wonderful community. Every donation, no matter how small, will help us cover his treatment and get him back on track.

So far, his first vet bill for his virus was $119.40, and his current bill is $778.40 — a total of $897.80 (Not including vaccines, FIV/FELV testing or his De-sexing)
